Over 1,200 toys donated to local school by employees of HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital

Hudson, FL — HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital is spreading holiday cheer by donating more than 1,200 toys to Chasco K-8 Community School, part of Pasco County School District.  These toys will serve as Christmas gifts for students, ensuring that children in need experience the joy of the season.

This initiative reflects the hospital’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community it serves.  According to recent data from the Pasco County School District, nearly 60% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, a key indicator of economic need.  For many families, holiday gifts can be a financial challenge, making community support essential.

The donation was coordinated in partnership with Chasco K-8 Community School, which serves hundreds of students from diverse backgrounds.  Teachers and staff will distribute the toys to ensure that every child has something special to open this Christmas.
