This achievement reflects Lawnwood Hospital’s outstanding clinical outcomes for vascular surgery. It puts Lawnwood Hospital in the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for vascular surgery and in the top 10% of hospitals nationwide for orthopedic surgery.

Healthgrades evaluated patient mortality and complication rates for 31 of the most common conditions and procedures at nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide to identify the top-performing hospitals for specialty care. This year's analysis revealed significant variation in patient outcomes between America's 50 and 100 Best Hospitals for vascular and orthopedic surgery and hospitals that did not receive this distinction.
