Diagnostic tests for sleep disorders
Our clinic features six sleep labs, including two accessible suites to accommodate wheelchair users, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
We have been recognized by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) as an Accredited Sleep Center for our expertise in performing on-campus, overnight sleep studies, as well as home sleep tests (HSTs).
Sleep studies
During a sleep study, our doctors, technologists and therapists use the latest equipment to record and measure your brain waves, heart rate, oxygen levels and eye and leg movements while you sleep. The goal of the sleep study is to diagnose your condition.
We prioritize your comfort every step of the way, which is why our sleep center's bedrooms are designed to feel like home. Each room features a:
- Flat screen TV
- Private bathroom
- Queen-sized bed
- Sleep recliner
- Wireless internet
Most people spend one night in our sleep center. Afterward, our specialists work with you to build a treatment plan personalized to your unique needs.
HSTs
In addition to sleep studies, we provide at-home tests. You must have a high pre-test probability of a sleep apnea diagnosis and display no signs of co-morbid conditions to qualify.
HSTs are only recommended for diagnosing sleep apnea. If you have symptoms related to other sleep disorders, we recommend scheduling a sleep study at our center.
