St. Petersburg, FL — HCA Florida Northside Hospital colleagues have once again come together to make a generous donation to the Pinellas Park Chamber Back to School annual event. This year, the team delivered over 30 bicycles to be given to local students.

“We show up for our community as more than a hospital and we’re so thankful for our teams who open their hearts to these opportunities,” said director of communications and community engagement Richelle Hoenes. “This is about leaning in to our community and neighborhoods immediately around us to help solve challenges like transportation, including the two-wheeled kind that students need to get to and from school.”

Nearly 1,000 families attend the free event each year to stock up on school supplies and get information for the school year.

The Pinellas Park Chamber is one of over a dozen strategic local partners the hospital has invested with to help give back to the community.
