He graduated with honors from Duke University School of Law and is currently active with the Neil S. Hirsch Boys and Girls Club of Wellington and the Rotary Club of Wellington. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber’s foundation.

“It is a huge honor to serve on the Board of Trustees for HCA Florida Palms West Hospital,” Smith said. “It is a true jewel of the Western Communities of Palm Beach County and has been providing world-class healthcare in our community for nearly four decades.”

Dr. Loney is a head and neck surgeon who has treated patients at Palms West Hospital 2010. She is a certified diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology. “HCA Palms West Hospital is strategically located in a growing community where a variety of health services are crucial.  There is thus both immense need and immense potential.  I have witnessed the steady growth and improvements over the last 14 years and consider it a privilege to be asked to serve as a member of the Board of Trustees,” said Dr. Loney.

Smith and Loney will help further the role and purpose of the Hospital by providing oversight of the hospital and advice to the Board of Managers. Also serving on the Board of Trustees is Jason L.
