New chief operations officer at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital

Olivia Velasquez is the new Chief Operating Officer at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. She most recently served as Vice President of Operations and Ethics and Compliance Officer at HCA Healthcare's TriStar Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tennessee. In this role, she oversaw multiple clinical and ancillary departments, managed capital projects, and successfully led regulatory surveys while maintaining a strong focus on quality, service, and engagement.

Prior to TriStar Summit, Velasquez served as Associate Administrator at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, in Tennessee where she also led many departments and managed key growth and performance initiatives.  She is a graduate of the HCA Healthcare Executive Development Program.

Velasquez earned her Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Health Systems Management degrees from Rush University.
