5-star quality rating for 2026 earned by South Tampa Hospital

Tampa, FL — HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital has earned a five-star overall hospital quality rating for 2026 from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the highest distinction awarded by the agency. CMS publishes its Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings annually, evaluating hospitals nationwide across five key measures: mortality, safety of care, readmissions, patient experience and timely and effective care.
