Orthopedic care

Orthopedists are doctors who take care of the entire musculoskeletal system. They diagnose and treat conditions such as sprains, strains, broken bones, arthritis and osteoporosis. Some of the treatments they offer include recommending lifestyle changes, applying casts and performing surgeries, such as ligament repairs or total joint replacements.

Types of orthopedic surgery we offer

We understand that damaged bones and joints can cause significant pain and affect your quality of life. Our team offers a wide range of orthopedic surgical solutions.

Arthroscopic surgery

We perform arthroscopic surgery to evaluate and repair ligament, cartilage and tendon injuries. During an arthroscopy, your surgeon will make small incisions and use an arthroscope to perform the procedure.

Joint surgery

If you are experiencing joint pain, we take the time to provide an accurate diagnosis and determine the best treatment plan for you. In some cases, that may involve joint replacement surgery. Our experienced surgeons provide the following joint replacement procedures:

  • Partial knee replacement
  • Total knee replacement
  • Total hip replacement
  • Shoulder replacement, including the reverse shoulder procedure

Robotic joint replacement surgery

Our hospital is proud to provide orthopedic surgery using robot-assisted technology. Specifically, we offer robot-assisted surgery for total hip, partial knee and total knee replacements. This technology improves surgical precision and helps position the implant during preoperative planning.

Preoperative education for total joint replacement

We offer pre-admission testing and one-on-one support to help you feel as prepared as possible for your procedure. Prior to your joint replacement surgery, our nurse navigator will sit down with you and explain the preoperative, surgical and postoperative processes to you. After meeting with the nurse navigator, you will meet with your anesthesiologist, where you will have time to ask questions or raise concerns.

Robot-assisted spine surgery

The spine provides crucial support for our bodies. When a problem occurs with the spine, it can cause chronic pain and difficulties in carrying out daily tasks.

In certain cases, the best treatment for a spine condition is surgery. Our spine surgeons are highly trained in advanced procedures to help ease pain and treat a variety of conditions.

Additionally, we are equipped to provide robot-assisted spine surgery. Our robotic surgery system enables our surgeons to take advantage of preoperative planning and allows increased dexterity, which is especially helpful when dealing with the spine's complex nature.

Orthopedic rehabilitation

Physical therapy and rehabilitation is a key component to a full recovery after an orthopedic injury or surgery. Our physical therapists offer personalized inpatient care in which we create a unique rehabilitative care plan designed to help you heal as quickly and safely as possible.
