3D and 4D ultrasounds
We offer 3D and 4D ultrasounds to expectant mothers who are between 24 and 32 weeks of pregnancy. This technology uses sound waves to allow you to see your baby in great detail before they are born. While 3D ultrasounds create high-quality images, 4D ultrasounds capture motion.
Our 3D and 4D ultrasounds provide information about your baby's fetal health and development. With each of these types of ultrasounds, you can:
- Confirm your baby's gender
- Listen to your baby's heart
- See your baby's features in detail
We encourage you to bring your support person to these appointments.
What to expect at a 3D and 4D ultrasound appointment
You may bring as many loved ones as you want, but our room comfortably fits four to six people at a time.
3D and 4D ultrasound appointments include:
- 25 minutes of viewing time to watch and capture images of your growing baby
- Five black and white prints and a USB or CD of the scan
If you are having multiple babies, or if you would like to have more time with our imaging technician, we provide an extended imaging option:
- 40 minutes of viewing time to watch and capture images of your growing baby or babies
- Eight black and white prints and a USB or CD of the scan
If you would like to schedule a 3D or 4D ultrasound, please call (800) 617-7095.
Labor and delivery
When the big day comes, we provide family-centered care throughout your hospital stay. Our private birthing suites offer ample space for your support partner, and our experienced staff focuses on your needs.
We respect your birth plan and support your preferences while prioritizing the health and safety of you and your baby. Our staff is dedicated to providing a safe environment for your family to welcome and get to know your little one, which is why your baby's first assessment takes place in your delivery room.
Postpartum care
After your baby is born, they are welcome to room-in with you. We are here to support your family and offer a safe, comfortable and private place to bond, with our attentive nursing staff nearby. However, our experienced nursery team is available to care for your newborn when you need to rest or care for yourself.
During this postpartum portion of your hospital stay, we help you begin your recovery and learn to care for your little one. Our lactation counselors are also available to help you and your baby learn to breastfeed, if you wish.
It’s our goal to provide the support and care you need so you feel comfortable when you take your baby home from the hospital.
Additional postpartum services
We understand that life with a new baby can be both exciting and overwhelming, which is why we support you however we can after your hospital stay. To ensure you can access the care you need, we provide comprehensive women's services and gynecological care.
Postpartum depression support
Pregnancy and birth are wondrous and lifechanging experiences. Even so, many women experience the "baby blues" after birth, which may be described as feelings of sadness and fatigue. However, if these feelings last for more than a short time, it could be postpartum depression.
If you feel you may have postpartum depression, you're not alone. Postpartum depression is common. In fact, about one in eight women report having postpartum depression symptoms.
We recommend talking with your OB/GYN or nurse if you experience postpartum depression symptoms. Our team prioritizes helping you get the support and resources you need to feel better. Seeking help is the first step to feeling like yourself again.
