Tom Richardson's perfect day is spent in the woods. From childhood hikes with his father on parts of the Appalachian Trail to completing the full trail twice as an adult, hiking in nature has always been his sanctuary. But in 2017, knee pain threatened to slow him down. Tom turned to HCA Florida Blake Hospital, where he underwent a partial knee replacement.
