Breast health care
Breast cancer is most treatable in its earliest stages, which is why early diagnosis through regular screenings is so important. It's also why getting annual mammograms is an important proactive step in taking control of your breast health. Through screening and early diagnosis, you can take advantage of two of the most powerful contributors in the fight against breast cancer.
Some of our breast health services and tools include:
- 2D and 3D mammography
- 3D computer-aided detection (CAD)
- 3D stereotactic breast biopsy
- Contrast-enhanced spectral mammography
- Ultrasound-guided breast biopsy
Gynecology
Regular well-woman exams, which typically include a Pap smear and pelvic exam, help ensure your reproductive health. During the exam, your physician screens for conditions such as human papillomavirus (HPV) and gynecologic cancer.
Our gynecologists and OB/GYNs also offer treatment for urogynecologic conditions, such as incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
Pelvic floor physical therapy
Sometimes, pelvic floor physical therapy can be used to treat incontinence and other pelvic conditions. Through physical therapy and rehabilitation services, our physical therapists work with you to help strengthen your pelvic floor muscles.
Gynecologic surgery
When noninvasive treatments do not resolve your symptoms, surgery may be an effective treatment option. In other cases, such as to treat gynecologic cancer, gynecologic surgery may be the initial recommended treatment option.
Our surgeons offer solutions for a range of gynecologic and urogynecologic conditions by using minimally invasive surgery. With minimally invasive techniques, such as robotic surgery, our surgeons are able to operate through only a few small incisions. This results in a faster recovery, shorter hospital stay and less scarring for you.
Women's cancer care
If cancer is detected, our oncology program offers comprehensive cancer care from a team of highly skilled specialists. This team works together to support you and your family throughout your cancer journey — from diagnosis and treatment through survivorship.
We offer advanced treatments, compassionate support services and access to reconstructive surgery after treatment. (Some patients elect to have reconstructive surgery after breast cancer treatment, for example.)
We understand a cancer diagnosis can come with many uncertainties, but one thing is certain — we will be here for you every step of the way.
