On behalf of HCA Florida Highlands Hospital, I want to welcome you to our website. Thank you for taking your healthcare seriously and learning how you can receive high quality care in a patient focused environment. Our goal is for you to use the website to explore our services and find valuable information to prevent illness, know the signs of medical emergencies, and seek care when needed.

Highlands has been a part of this community for over 50 years. We are neighbors caring for neighbors. With HCA Healthcare at the helm, we have a network of knowledge and best practices to continually advance our care. Since 2017, we have invested over $25 million into facility and technology upgrades to better serve you.

Highlands is committed to growing with the needs of the community. We offer 24/7 Emergency Room services, general and vascular surgery, heart care including interventional Cath lab, Wound Care, and Rehab services. Additionally, we offer the only dedicated senior ER in Highlands County, minimally invasive surgical procedures, the Orthopedic Institute for Total Joint Replacement, and now specialized spine surgery.
