Our cardiovascular care program

Part of one of the state's most extensive cardiovascular surgical programs, our specialists are committed to delivering comprehensive heart care every step of the way.

Heart testing services and cardiac catheterization

An accurate diagnosis is the first step in treating advanced heart conditions and sets the foundation for your care plan. At our facility, we offer a range of cardiac diagnostic imaging and tests. We also have a cardiac catheterization laboratory (cath lab) where we perform minimally invasive diagnostic heart exams and treatment procedures.

Specialized heart and vascular care

Our hospital's heart program specializes in a variety of treatment options, including:

  • Heart arrhythmia care — We offer advanced treatment options for heart arrhythmias in our electrophysiology laboratory.
  • Heart attack services — Our hospital offers a range of services and is recognized as an Accredited Chest Pain Center by the American College of Cardiology.
  • Heart failure services — Our complete heart imaging services aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure, including congestive heart failure (CHF).
  • Stroke care — We are recognized as a Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, which acknowledges our compliance with stringent national standards and superior outcomes for people who experience strokes.
  • Vascular care — Our cardiovascular doctors provide medical intervention for conditions affecting the veins and arteries, including atherosclerosis and peripheral vascular disease (PVD).

Heart and vascular surgery

Our surgeons perform a range of valve replacement and repair procedures, bypass surgeries, cardiac ablations and innovative structural heart procedures, such as the transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and transcatheter mitral valve replacement (TMVR). We stay on the forefront of new heart and vascular surgery techniques to help ensure you receive the most beneficial and advanced treatments possible.

Cardiovascular rehabilitation program

Our cardiac rehabilitation program is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. If you're recovering from a heart attack, heart surgery or stable angina, we can help you recover and rebuild strength in a safe, controlled environment.

Cardiac clinical trials

Through our active participation in some of the country’s leading clinical trials, we’re able to provide leading-edge treatments and procedures. Our collaboration with many of our physicians has enabled us to participate in over 200 clinical trials.

We participate in the Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISRP), an independent nonprofit organization with the purpose of educating the public, medical and research communities, media and policymakers to promote greater understanding and awareness of clinical research participation and the role it plays in public health.
