Tampa, Fla.  – HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital is proud to announce its two top leaders for May and June, Shavonne Teartt and Veronica Morris. Each month, the Employee Advisory Group (EAG), which consists of representatives from each department, reviews nominations and chooses a Leader of the Month, Colleague of the Month and Physician of the Month.

For May, the EAG selected Shavonne Teartt, Director of Case Management, for Leader of the Month. Since stepping into her leadership role, Shavonne has not only built an incredible team with zero percent turnover, but also consistently met or exceeded departmental goals. Her solid interdepartmental relationships have driven remarkable engagement and results, setting a high standard for all of us.

For June, the EAG chose Veronica Morris, Laboratory Director, as Leader of the Month. Veronica's leadership has had a profound impact on our laboratory. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure a safe, clean and streamlined environment, a testament to her dedication. Her cheerful disposition and support have helped her team thrive in leadership positions, and her efforts have not gone unnoticed-she regularly receives praise from patients and other caregivers.

“These two leaders are a crucial part of keeping our hospital a safe and welcoming environment for patients,” said Eileen Corning, vice president of human resources, HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital. “Their contributions exemplify the high standards and commitment to excellence that we strive for at HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital.
