Tampa, FL — HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital is excited to announce the grand opening of its state-of-the-art Interventional Radiology Suite with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 24, 2024. The new suite represents a significant advancement in patient care and reflects the hospital’s ongoing commitment to delivering cutting-edge medical services to the St. Petersburg community.

This new Interventional Radiology (IR) Suite will provide patients with access to minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. These advanced techniques often result in shorter recovery times, less pain and reduced hospital stays, improving patient outcomes and overall experience. The suite is equipped with the latest imaging technologies, allowing physicians to perform complex procedures with enhanced precision and safety.

"At HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital, we are dedicated to continually enhancing our services to meet the needs of our community," said Charles Nagel, director of imaging services, HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital. "The addition of this Interventional Radiology Suite is a testament to our commitment to offering the most advanced treatments and technologies to our patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality care right here in their own community."

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by hospital leadership, members of the medical staff, local community leaders and special guests. The event included remarks from hospital executives and a tour of the new suite, followed by light refreshments.
