Cancer treatments we provide

Our oncology specialists offer a full spectrum of treatment methods for cancer. Depending on your needs, treatment may include:

Interventional radiology

Interventional radiology uses medical imaging technologies and has a wide variety of uses for cancer treatment. It can include chemotherapy port placement as well as more complex procedures, such as radioembolization (injecting "radioactive beads" into blood vessels that feed a tumor). Minimally invasive interventional radiology procedures typically offer shorter recovery times for patients.

Chemotherapy and immunotherapy

Our hematologists and medical oncologists frequently use chemotherapy and immunotherapy (or a combination of both therapies) as effective forms of cancer treatment.

  • Chemotherapy — a type of infusion therapy used to stop the growth and reproduction of cancer cells
  • Immunotherapy — treatment that triggers the immune system to more effectively fight cancer

Surgical oncology

Depending on your diagnosis, a surgical procedure may be necessary to perform a biopsy, remove masses or lymph nodes or reconstruct damaged tissue. We offer innovative surgery options, including:

  • Biopsy with ultrasound
  • Cryosurgery
  • Hepatic artery infusion pump therapy
  • Limb-sparing surgery
  • Lymph node biopsy
