Orthopedic care

Orthopedists are doctors who take care of the entire musculoskeletal system. They diagnose and treat conditions such as sprains, strains, broken bones, arthritis and osteoporosis. Some of the treatments they offer include recommending lifestyle changes, applying casts and performing surgeries, such as ligament repairs or total joint replacements.

Diagnostic orthopedic services

Diagnostic imaging services are an integral part of managing your orthopedic condition. We use X-rays, computerized tomography (CT) scans and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans to diagnose a variety of conditions.

Additionally, our surgical team may use fluoroscopy, a live X-ray, to guide orthopedic procedures.

Bone density screenings

Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA), or bone density screenings, measure bone loss. This scan uses enhanced X-rays and small amounts of radiation to measure bone density and mineral content. A DEXA scan can be a helpful screening tool to evaluate your risk for osteoporosis or bone fractures.
