HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is proud to announce it has been nominated in multiple categories in the Tampa Bay Times’ “Best of the Best” awards, a recognition driven by the voices of the local community.

The hospital has been nominated for Best Hospital, as well as Best Place to Have a Baby, Best Physical Therapy and Best Speech Language Pathology. These nominations reflect the trust and confidence that patients and families place in Brandon Hospital’s commitment to high-quality, compassionate care.

“We are incredibly honored to be nominated by readers of the Tampa Bay Times across all of these categories,” said Justin Brewer, chief operating officer at Brandon Hospital. “This recognition speaks to the dedication of our physicians, nurses and colleagues who work tirelessly to serve our community every day.”

Voting is now open and will continue through May 31. Community members are encouraged to support Brandon Hospital by casting their vote.

A particularly meaningful nomination for the hospital is Best Place to Have a Baby, a category that reflects the deeply personal experiences of families during one of life’s most important moments.

“As both a leader and a former patient, this nomination is especially close to my heart,” said Christy Keel, Director of Women and Infant Services at Brandon Hospital. “More than twenty years ago, I delivered my twin boys right here at Brandon Hospital with Dr. James Baron, who is still delivering babies at our hospital today. To continue as part of a team that continues that same legacy of care for other families is incredibly special, and I couldn’t be more proud of this recognition.”

Brandon Hospital remains committed to providing exceptional care across all service lines and is grateful to the community for its continued support. Learn more about childbirth at Brandon Hospital.
