Community leaders join board of trustees at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital

Three new members join the board bringing expertise and local commitment to serve the community.

HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital welcomes three respected community leaders to the hospital’s Board of Trustees. They are:

  • Gene Jones: President and CEO of YMCA of Southwest Florida
  • Christine Robinson: CEO at The Argus Foundation
  • Charles Stewart, M.D. — Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon

These leaders in the community and in their professional roles will advise hospital leadership on quality and operations. The board follows standards set by The Joint Commission, which accredits hospitals. There are 15 members on the hospital board including physicians, local business leaders and CEOs of community organizations.
