Wow Moment for the #CareExperience

Recently, there was a special WOW Moment for the Care Experience on the 8th floor, as we helped celebrate patient Cynthia Parks' 18th wedding anniversary with her husband.

Ms. Parks had been with us for a couple days and on her last day, the team found out that it was her anniversary. The team sprang into action and reached out to FNS, who rushed to get them a cake, and the staff signed a card for them.

When the team delivered the surprise, Ms. Parks was so touched she burst into happy tears. She was excited to do a WOW Moment with us and was appreciative of the care that she received during her stay. She mentioned several nurses by name that went above and beyond to care for her and make her feel safe and informed during her health journey at our facility.

Thank you to the 8th floor team for living our mission – above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life.
