Hyperbaric medicine involves exposing problematic wounds to pure oxygen. We use this technology to help accelerate recovery for a variety of wounds, such as:

Hyperbaric medicine
During hyperbaric oxygen treatment, you lie in a special pressurized chamber of pure oxygen and breathe normally. From there, the amount of oxygen in the blood will increase.
Candidates for hyperbaric medicine
If you have experienced any of the following, you may be a candidate for hyperbaric medicine:
- Carbon monoxide poisoning
- Chronic bone infections, or, osteomyelitis
- Compromised skin and muscle grafts
- Crush injuries
- Decompression sickness
- Diabetic leg and foot wounds
- Gas gangrene
- Lacerations
- Postoperative infections
- Progressive necrotizing soft tissue infections
- Radiation or other burns
- Skin tears
- Slow and nonhealing surgical wounds
- Wounds that have not healed after four weeks of treatment
- Wounds that have not completely healed in eight weeks
How to refer your patients to our wound center
For physician offices, simply follow these three steps to refer your patients to us.
How to submit a referral
- Complete the referral form.
- Fax your referral to (239) 368-4485. Please send the patient’s face sheet and demographics, history, physicals, most recent progress note, medication list and labs.
- To schedule an appointment, call patient registration at (239) 368-4710. We will verify benefits and call the patient.
