14 HCA Florida Healthcare hospitals named among America's Best 250

HCA Florida Healthcare announced today 14 of its hospitals are among America’s 250 Best Hospitals for 2025, according to new research released by Healthgrades, the leading resource consumers use to find a hospital or doctor. This achievement puts these Florida facilities, which are part of the HCA Healthcare network, in the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for overall clinical performance.

 Three facilities, HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, HCA Florida Kendall Hospital and HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital, are included in America’s 100 Best Hospitals for the second consecutive year. HCA Florida Osceola Hospital returns to the list this year, while HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is named an America’s Best Hospital for the first time in 2025.

 In addition, HCA Florida Healthcare hospitals are among the top providers in the state in numerous key specialties. More than 80% of the hospitals in the statewide network received quality awards in multiple specialties, including Cardiovascular, Gastrointestinal, Joint Replacement and Orthopedics services. In fact, Healthgrades awarded the system with more than 200 annual recognitions for Cardiovascular services in 2025 alone. These rankings reflect HCA Florida Healthcare’s commitment to providing the best care possible and distinguish the network as a leader in the state for specialty care.

 Healthgrades evaluates hospitals solely on what matters most–patient outcomes. To determine the top hospitals for 2025, Healthgrades evaluated risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for over 30 conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide. Healthgrades’ annual analysis revealed significant performance gaps between the nation’s highest- and lowest-achieving hospitals, making it increasingly important to seek care at a top-rated facility. In fact, from 2021-2023, patients treated at one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals had a 28.1% lower risk of dying than if they were treated at hospitals that did not receive the award.*
