Inverness, FL — HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is proud to announce that two area students, Isabella Bollin and Sean Graham, have been awarded the Patricia Frist Memorial Scholarship, an honor recognizing academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement among the children of HCA Healthcare colleagues.

Lisa Nummi, HCA Florida Citrus Hospital CEO, praised the students’ accomplishments saying, “We are incredibly proud of Isabella and Sean for their hard work and dedication. The Patricia Frist Memorial Scholarship is a testament to the bright future these students have ahead of them. Supporting the educational aspirations of our extended HCA family is one of the many ways we invest in our communities.”

This year, 31 scholarships were awarded in HCA Healthcare’s West Florida Division totaling $105,750. Across the HCA Healthcare enterprise, 702 scholarships were granted, amounting to $2,271,000 in educational support. The Patricia Frist Memorial Scholarship program is a long-standing initiative that reflects HCA Healthcare’s commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders and professionals.

Sean Graham, who will attend Florida State University, plans to pursue a degree in Kinesiology. His academic goals reflect a strong commitment to health and wellness, aligning with the values of HCA Healthcare.

Isabella Bollin, who also plans to attend Florida State University in the fall to study Biology, shared her excitement and gratitude. “When I learned I was chosen as a recipient for the Patricia Frist Memorial Scholarship, I was getting my hair done for prom and I screamed from excitement! This scholarship has come as a huge blessing for me and my family and I am so grateful that you saw my potential and decided to choose me,” she said. “Although I look forward to attending FSU in the fall, the financial burden of college was becoming a huge worry for my parents and this money will help alleviate any financial strain on my parents who have worked so hard to allow me the chance at an education. Words cannot fully express how delighted I am to receive this scholarship. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.”
