Diagnostic imaging

Clinical trials for cancer treatment
Our cancer physicians have access to ongoing clinical trials (research studies) for the latest cancer treatment therapies. By participating in a clinical trial, you may receive cutting-edge treatment before it's widely available to the public.
Chemotherapy
This nonsurgical cancer treatment uses drugs to kill cancer cells or slow their growth. The combination of chemotherapy drugs that may be right for you depend on the following factors:
- The type of cancer you have
- Your body's response to the chemotherapy
- Your overall health, including any other conditions
Electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy (ENB)
Bronchoscopy uses a thin, flexible tube with a tiny camera and instruments to find and treat cancerous cells in the lungs.
Infusion therapy
Infusion therapy is a method of administering cancer-fighting medications, including chemotherapy. We can deliver infusion therapy through:
- A pump, over a period of several days
- Injection
- IV, over a period of minutes or hours
We offer an outpatient infusion center for patients who are continuing their care at home.
Minimally invasive procedures
Minimally invasive surgeries use imaging techniques to guide catheters and fine needles to deliver cancer-fighting agents at the tumor site. These procedures allow physicians to locate and kill cancerous cells or slow or stop their growth.
Minimally invasive procedures can offer patients many benefits, including:
- Less scarring
- Minimal pain and discomfort after surgery
- Minimal need for narcotic pain medications, reducing the side effects related to those medications
- Relatively short hospital stay and recovery time
Laparoscopic surgery
This minimally invasive surgical approach uses several small incisions, rather than a large one, to access and treat cancerous tumors. The surgeon uses a tiny camera and instruments to perform the surgery.
Robotic surgery
Similar to laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery requires small incisions and uses a tiny camera and instruments. The difference is that the surgeon operates a robotic system to perform the operation.
