Anne went to the emergency room because she thought she had a bad sinus infection.

Once Anne presented to the emergency room, she was transported to the Comprehensive Stroke Center at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. The medical staff ran some tests, and they found she had multiple cerebral aneurysms and one of the aneurysms had burst. Anne had suffered a hemorrhagic stroke.

She was taken into the biplane angio-suite where Dr. Iraj Nikfarjam conducted a diagnostic angiogram. Immediately after, the ruptured aneurysm was treated endovascularly with catheters and coils. Anne spent a few weeks in rehab and then returned home.

Three months after her stroke, Anne says she is doing great. She is back to working full-time and returning to life as normal.
